IrhadMutić

Irhad Mutić is a Bosnian-American actor, writer and director. He was born in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and came to the United States in 1993 with his family; he grew up in Boise, Idaho and Jacksonville, Florida, later working out of Rochester, New York and Los Angeles.

His formal training began at the New York Film Academy in 2012 — acting for camera, scene study, monologues, voice and movement, improvisation, audition technique, cold reading and film-set practices — and continued at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles from 2016 to 2017, where the Adler technique became the foundation of his work for stage and screen. He has since refined that craft through the Power Technique with Greg Sims, alongside ongoing study in motion capture performance, voice and music.

He currently stars as Richie in the suspense thriller Dog Days, written and directed by Keven LaCroix and now in post-production. Previously he appeared in the Safdie Brothers' Good Time opposite Robert Pattinson, Geremy Jasper's Patti Cake$, and the CBS series MacGyver. He also wrote, directed and starred in the short film Bruce, which screened at the 2018 Indy Film Fest.

His work and perspective have drawn press attention on both sides of the Atlantic, including an in-depth interview with the Sarajevo Times — "It's ultimately ourselves who should take the responsibility" — and coverage in Bosnian outlets following his American film and television credits.

A SAG-AFTRA member, he works fluently in English and Bosnian and holds working permits for both the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
